Carrots can protect your skin from the sun’s rays. The beta carotene in carrots is a skin-friendly nutrient that gets converted to vitamin A inside the body. It helps repair skin tissues while also protecting skin from harmful radiation.
Raspberries contain a good amout of anthocyanin pigments which are natural antioxidants (which reduce the age spots and discoloration, similar to strawberries). They also protect the skin against the sun’s UV rays.
Bananas are rich in pectin, a soluble dietary fiber and natural detoxifying agent, which is great for digestion. Not necessarily super great for skin, but good for your overall health… also it helps make this smoothies nice and creamy.
Spinach is a nutrient dense supper foods and a must to help assist with removing toxins from our bodies.

Ingredients
- 6 baby carrots (chopped)
- 1 cup frozen berries
- 1 cup spinach leaves
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup of orange juice
- 1/2 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
- optional: 1 Tablespoon ground flax or flaxseed oil

Directions: Blend all ingredients until smooth.
