In today’s video we share a Mango Pomegranate Smoothie that is great if you are fighting off acne.
Mango – Containing Vitamin C, which works to reduce inflammation caused by acne, and Magnesium, which helps to reduce oily skin, mangoes are packed with cleansing astringent properties. Contains Potassium and Vitamin E work alongside each other to keep cells hydrated to moisturize the skin.
Raspberries – Great for treating inflammation and redness commonly occur on sensitive skin thanks to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. The vitamin C and antioxidants in raspberry can reduce the signs of aging such as black spots or wrinkles.
Pomegranate – Pomegranate is thought to contain natural antimicrobials from vitamin C, which may help fight bacteria and fungus in your skin. Such benefits may help treat P. acnes bacteria, which may be a precursor to acne breakouts.
Flax Seeds -The oil was shown to decrease symptoms of atopic dermatitis, such as redness, swelling and itching.
Coconut Water – Soothe inflamed skin, blemishes, and other forms of irritation, acts an anti-inflammatory, detoxifier and an anti-microbial—all of which work to decrease incidences of acne.

Ingredients
- 1/2 mango
- 1/2 pomegranate
- 1 cup raspberries (125 g)
- 1 tbsp flax seeds
- 1 cup water (250 ml)

Directions: Blend all ingredients until smooth.
